Kim Córdova is a Mexican American journalist and critic. Her work considers art and culture as social and political infrastructure as well as how relationships between culture, identity, and institutions inform geopolitical realities.

She is a non resident fellow with think tanks Atlantic Council (MLP) and German Marshall Fund (MMF) and is an IRE26‍ ‍fellow.

Her research at the intersection of policy, societal impacts of technology, and contemporary art has taken her to several countries including China, Georgia, Central Asia, Turkey, Europe, and LATAM, as a Zhi-Xing China Eisenhower Fellow, CEC ArtsLink fellow (Kazakhstan), and USA Spain Foundation Young Leader. She was a Fulbright Public Policy Scholar in Bogotá with Min Cultura and Min Tic.

She is a recipient of an Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant and is a Critical Minded New York Times Fellow.

She grew up in Pasadena, California, received a BA from CCS at UCSB, and lived in Mexico City after graduating from Soma (MFA equivalency). She holds an MA from Harvard.
